Brent Neale Jewelry Salon
Perched atop the historic Astor Trust Building at 501 Fifth Avenue, directly overlooking the New York Public Library and Bryant Park, Brent Neale's salon is a quiet retreat above the energy of Manhattan.
Here, contemporary jewelry and timeless craftsmanship come together in a setting that honors both.
Working alongside designer Ramsey Lyons, we created a collection of custom furnishings—including bookcases, jewelry vitrines, sculptural mirrors, and seating—that quietly shape the experience, enrich the architecture, and allow the craftsmanship of every jewel to speak for itself.
Custom jewelry vitrines were thoughtfully proportioned to provide a warm, sculptural backdrop for Brent Neale's one-of-a-kind jewelry. Softened edges, refined detailing, and meticulously executed joinery introduce texture and tactility while allowing each piece to remain the focal point.
Fabricated from solid ash and finished in our signature Claize®, the warm camel undertones of the grain are beautifully offset by the richness of the brass, lending depth and warmth to the entire display.
Each vitrine also incorporates custom brass and glass components, designed specifically for the project and fabricated in close partnership with our trusted metal fabrication partner. The result is a seamless dialogue between wood, metal, and glass—each material contributing to a display system that feels understated, refined, and built to endure.
Custom bookcases were designed to bring warmth and quiet architectural presence as guests step into the Brent Neale world. Sculpted bullnose profiles, softened edges, and meticulous craftsmanship create a backdrop that feels both timeless and contemporary. The softened forms, paired with the natural movement of the wood grain, introduce an organic quality that keeps the space feeling light, warm, and inviting.
Integrated Pool Noodle Mirrors complete the composition, adding reflection and depth while reinforcing the sculptural language of the space.
Rounding out the Pool Noodle family of elements, the custom Pool Noodle Bench introduces a sculptural moment within the salon. Softened curves, generous proportions, and meticulous craftsmanship echo the architectural language established throughout the space while inviting guests to pause and linger.
Upholstered in a soft sea-green corded velvet by Jim Thompson—a subtle nod to Brent Neale's Tides collection—adding a rich tactile contrast to the sculptural ash frame while introducing another layer of warmth and depth to the salon.
