Timeless Craftsmanship, Rooted in Place

Founded in 2011 by Clay and Megan Aronson, Aronson Woodworks brings together architectural training from Iowa State University and traditional craftsmanship honed in a 19th-century woodworking shop.

Our 20,000-square-foot facility—just 15 minutes south of Des Moines—is nestled into the rural landscape of Iowa farmland. Inside, we house over 3,000 board feet of reclaimed lumber, a dedicated finishing room, and the tools to bring timeless designs to life. We're proudly rooted near the iconic Bridges of Madison County and a short drive from the creative energy of downtown Des Moines.

At Aronson Woodworks, we craft furniture as functional works of art. Each piece is custom-built to your specifications and finished with our signature CLAIZE™ technique—redefining how wood grain is experienced.
